Matthew and I are raising funds for the charity NeoAngels.

Neoangels is dedicated to providing as much love, care and support as possible to families, babies and staff on the Neonatal Units at North Tees and James Cook University Hospital. They ease the financial burden parents face by purchasing parking vouchers, helping with travel expenses and providing a hot meal in the hospital canteen daily for parents. They provide medical equipment, they have a specialist bereavement fund to look after families who lose their baby, they offer emotional support and they look after siblings too.

NeoAngels has a special place in our hearts as they have supported my sister Sammy and her partner Kate along with our two beautiful nephews, Sidney and Harry, who were born October 2020 at 6 weeks early. Sid spent 5 weeks in the neonatal unit and Harry was there for 99 days 😢 And to this day, the boys still attend NeoAngels weekly. They have helped many families like ours - physically, emotionally, and financially. We don’t know where our family would be without them ❤️

In honour of NeoAngels, we will be hosting a charity football match to raise funds for the charity on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 at 12PM and we will be heading to 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺, 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗺 after the match to hand out Raffle Prizes, for a celebratory drink 🍻 and for the kids to run off some steam at Fuzzy Eds! We are awaiting confirmation on a couple of pitches but should have an answer this next week.
