Sunderland Partnership Kilimanjaro Challenge · 14 April 2010

We are a first tier infrastructure organisation providing a first class support and development and capacity building services to the Voluntary and Community sector in the City of Sunderland.

Story

The Sunderland Partnership Kilimanjaro Challenge 2010:

In April 2010  a group of 20 people from the Sunderland Partnership (comprising Public, Private and Voluntary Sector Organisations) will be attempting to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. The climb will be attempted over a period of seven days from the 16th April - 22nd April.

The climb is a charitable one and I am supporting the Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal.  Half of the money I raise will be going to this fantastic charity, which is raising funds to build, equip and run an eight bed children’s hospice for children across the North East of England.

The other half of the money will be going to the Africa Blackwood Conservation Project, which is planting trees on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to reverse the devastating effects of deforrestation.

All of our personal costs are covered independantly which mean that 100% of the donations go to the charity (even more with gift aid!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank-you so much for your support.
