Story

We are three siblings who are attempting a relay Ironman together.

The challenge is the Lakesman Ironman in Keswick on the 18th June 2023. https://thelakesman.com

🏊‍♂️  My brother Ed kicks off with a 2.4 mile swim in Derwentwater.

🚲 He then passes the baton to my sister Charlotte who is cycling 112 miles - she will complete 2 big loops out to the coast.

🏃‍♀️  I then take the last leg and run 26.2 miles which is 6 times around Keswick with beautiful views.

For each of us this is the first time we have attempted the distance for our chosen leg.

Why? Well we thought it would be brilliant to do a challenge together in the Lake District which is a place we all love. We also wanted to compete in memory of our cousin Kerry Smith. Kerry was such a caring person who radiated love to anyone and everyone. She is very much loved and missed💕

The charity is 42nd street which is an amazing mental health charity for young people in Manchester. It has 40 years’ experience of providing free and confidential services to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Any money you can spare would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

Emily, Charlotte and Edward (Smith) xx
