Hello everybody!  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page; you are all WONDERFUL!  But please don't stop there...I want your money! My phobia of pleading with people for money has been overshadowed by the fact that this is for a VERY worthwhile cause.  In addition to this, the charity I'm fundraising for is very dear to my heart.  Great Ormond Street Hospital does amazing things for people all around the world, and is a pioneering hospital in many fields, but it has done miracles for people much closer to home too:  My own little cousin Raggie had life-saving operations at Great Ormond Street when she was just 6 days old and continues to have annual check-ups there.  As you can see from the photo, it has been quite some time since I raised money for Great Ormond Street, and when Kirsty and I last did so, I believe it was in the region of £38.50! But with the help of you kind, generous people, I know we can do MUCH better this time around!  Cycling from London to Paris in two days is no easy feat and I have the aching body to prove that! (not to mention a new and improved size zero bottom!)   Obviously I'm joking.  (it's a size 4.) 

Of course, I'm not the only one who thinks that Great Ormond Street Hospital is a cause worth cycling 200 miles for: it was my boss, John Frieda who put together this fundraising campaign in order to reach his target of raising a massive £1million!  With the money, 2 brand new operating theatres will be built, enabling even more children to be helped each year.  John has joined forces with all of his other hairdressing buddies who are each doing their own unique fundraisers, so make sure you check out the website www.gosh.org/hairraising to see what other fun activites are taking place!
