Badger Trust exists to promote and enhance the welfare, conservation and protection of badgers, their setts, and habitats. We are the leading voice for badgers in England and Wales, with a network of over 50 local voluntary badger groups, and supported by thousands of supporters and followers.

Story

Many of you that know me are aware that I have suffered with mental health issues for 27 years. In 2011 I became really poorly with an inner ear disorder which lasted for many months. This really hit me and my mental health hard and I never thought I would be out there "running" (jogging) again let alone leaving the house.

Along with my  family, colleagues and friends, the badger army and the friends I have made in it have been pivotal in my rehabilitation back into "normalish" life. I will never be free of my mental health issues but saving badgers has got me on top of them and I have managed to travel all over the country on badger marches something that would have been totally impossible for me in 2012.

As a member of the badger trust I'm raising money to support the great work that the Badger Trust does. Protecting badgers is important to me, this Governments policy regarding wildlife is truly appaulling. The badger trust is a fantastic charity who do great work, please support them.
