Hello EPG team 

At the end of last year, I had sent out a note saying that given the stellar performance of the team in 2017, I was keen on donating to a cause we all agreed on in the name of EPG. The reasons were two-fold. One it is nearly impossible to come up with a gift idea that I can send around the world to everyone and two in thinking about who we are as a team and in aligning with the values we set out at the beginning of the year I thought giving back would best reflect our culture.

After some discussion, we decided that it made sense for me to donate to an organization that focused on renewable sources of energy. Given the difference that SolarAid is making by providing solar powered electricity to African communities that do not have access to it and it's innovative business model as well as the enthusiastic responses that I got from all of you on suggesting this charity, I have gone ahead and made a donation in EPG's name through the JustGiving platform.
