Emily's Rabies Mission · 3 January 2017

Rabies needlessly kills 59,000 people each year. This needs to change. Following World Health Organisation guidelines we run mass canine vaccination drives and lifesaving education programmes to help people protect themselves against rabies. What we are doing works, but we can't do it alone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Laura and I are off to Goa in November to volunteer with Mission Rabies helping them with their vaccination program.

In India alone, every 2 seconds someone is bitten by a dog and around 24 people a day suffer an excruciating death from rabies - over half of which are children.

Mission Rabies aim is to eliminate rabies from the world by 2030.

Just £5 will vaccinate 20 dogs against rabies for a whole year!

We will be taking part and organising various events over the coming months to raise money for Mission Rabies (this includes our participation fee).

I will also be taking on the London Marathon in April and will appreciate as much support as I can get!! Look out for me in a bright yellow Mission Rabies vest!!

Thank you in advance for donating and helping us achieve our goal.👊🏻
