Hi Everyone,

I'm doing this challenge to raise money for the Douglas Macmillian Hospice. On the 6th February 2021 we lost Judith Streeton to her long battle with Cancer. She was admitted on 4th February into the Douglas Macmillian Hospice for her end of life care. Whilst she was there it was evident to see the unwavering care and compassion shown towards her by all of the staff she came into contact with.

We believe because of the excellent care provided, that she was enabled to pass away peacefully, which is everything we could have wished for as a family.

The Hospice relies on donations for 80% of it's revenue, to be able to provide this nurturing care.

Judith (Jude) was always helping others in her career as a nurse and even after her diagnosis of Cancer, she was still adamant to help anyone and everyone in any way she could. I am completing this challenge in memory of Jude.

Starting on Saturday 27th February 2021, I will be challenging myself to complete the Lands End to John O'groats - which is 1,744km, in a virtual challenge. I will be doing this by Cycling/Running/Rowing on an average of 15.2km per day, every day, until Monday 21st June 2021. I have chosen this date as it also currently indicates the end of restrictions and when the country should be back to some sort of normality.

I aim to raise £250, but would love to smash this and raise even more if I can!
