The Stroke Association - Thames Bridges Bike Ride · 23 May 2010 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hi there,

Thanks for thinking about donating to The Stroke Association, and encouraging me on my 30 mile Bike Ride.  This is a great charity and really close to my heart.  Sarah, my bezzie mate and cycling buddy, has been directly effected by results of a Stroke.  Her father suffered a stroke at a very young age and has been disabled ever since.  We both know the effect that this can have on the person and their family.  If you could give just a little bit of money, to go towards helping others in this situation we would be really grateful.

We need to raise £70 each for the charity, but obviously we would love to raise much much more... so give generously.

Thanks so much, and wish me luck on this venture.

xx Emily
