Story

Every year, I support a number of charities - mostly because I have personally been close to their amazing work or have needed their support for a member of my family.

This year, my chosen charity isn't (thankfully) because I have experienced this first hand... nor do I ever want to.  But so many people have and I cannot imagine how terrifying it must be to need support for a child who has been diagnosed with cancer - it must be every families worst nightmare.

Along with a team from Henderson Group, I have signed myself up to complete the challenge of a lifetime in order to personally raise over £2,000 for Cancer Fund for Children.

You may think I'm off to the Grand Canyon, what's challenging about that....?  I've been fortunate enough to have already been there, but I do want to see it in a different way -  through my walking boots trekking over 66km in excessive heat, steep and narrow pathways, barren and deserted landscapes; it's going to take endurance, determination and motivation - my training needs to start now!

I'll be fundraising right up til I go in May and your support and every penny will make a big difference.  Look out for my events and updates on this page and on Facebook too.

Thank you!
