As some of you may know, my gorgeous little boy Dexter, who was born on Fri 29th August 2015, has an unusual heart defect (a doubly committed sub arterial ventricular septal defect!) and is currently under the care of both Gt Ormond St hospital and the N&N.  Thankfully the care and support is brilliant, and we couldn't ask for anymore from them. In time, when he's big and strong enough, it's likely that he will have an operation, and will be monitored and supported throughout his life, even after an operation has been done.  

Because of the research that they do, I am keen to raise awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation, so am inviting friends and family to join me on Sun 1st February at midday, at Eaton Park in Norwich. It's not about how far we walk, or how many laps we do, but how many of you can make it. There will be a nominal entry fee of £5, which you can either give me on the day or pay through my just giving page, and then I will donate the total that we raise. If you can't make the walk but would like to donate anyway, that would be great. One other condition is that you should wear something in the colour red.... Wear it red day isn't until Friday 6th but I thought more people could make it on the Sunday.  Everyone is welcome, so round up your babies and buggies, your children, partners and dogs!
