Leo was my amazing strong hearted loving 10years old big super hero boy. when he passed away on the 8th march 2020 . Leo had spina bifida and hydrocephalus and scoliosis he had many surgeries in his life to help him stay mobile more recently he had hamstring lengthening to keep him active and Leo's team have been amazing through his life I cant fault 1 of them from physio  (rainy rachel as leo called her) to his consultant miss p. He had many friends at his school that helped him over every day obstacles but nothing got in his way he kicked bum at everything he did and that got in his way. Leo was an amazin big brother who will be deeply missed ,he was loved by everyone in his family he loved shouting no! At his nanny No'no and going on adventures with grandad susie. Trying cooking with uncle josh which was always amazing and swimming with his favourite auntie vicki and cousin lewis .And mostly he loved sleep overs with his other nanny and his elf's on a friday . Nothing ever stopped leo he voiced his opinion he knew what he wanted and nothing got in his way I was told he'd never walk but he walked I was told he wouldn't do anything he did everything he loved choir it was his bestest thing. The charity we have picked helpped Leo when he was in hospital after major back surgery he got a bad infection and was in hospital for 8 weeks they made sure he carried on learning which was amazing to keep normality  in his life why he was in hospital. But sadly things changed very quickly and my little angel passed away peacefully 08.03.20.

About the charity

Funds raised by Ducklings have supported trips, IT equipment and personal items for some of our pupils and families. These have provided a much needed positive experience during what is at best, a difficult and, at worst a devastating time in the lives of these families.
