Fundraising for SWR Mind
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I decided to use McCains 10K to raise money for a charity.
Why SWR MIND?
Well that's simple... because;
*1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in any given year.
*1 in 10 young people will experience a mental health problem.
*9 out of 10 people with mental health problems experience stigma and discrimination.
*Nearly three in four young people fear the reactions of friends when they talk about their mental health problems.
The chances are each and every one of us will suffer a mental health problem to some degree in our life, and I don't feel mental health is spoken about enough. There just isn't the awareness like there is for other health problems!
If by doing this I help just one person I know I've made a difference, so donate what you can and please share this page among your friends and family so they can also donate to the cause.
