Asda Foundation Leeds Half Marathon 2019 · 12 May 2019 ·

The Children’s Heart Federation (CHF) is the leading national charity championing children with heart conditions. CHF is dedicated in empowering these children, their families, and carers.

Story

My housemate Gemma and I have signed up to run the Leeds half marathon this summer! We've started our training plan already and it's going alrighty!
If you've got a spare couple quid, I've decided to fundraise for the Children's Heart Federation who help children with congenital heart problems and their families. I've chosen this in memory of my 12 year old cousin Fiona who sadly passed away last May as a result of heart problems.

I'd really love to raise some money to help children who suffer from such problems and to support their families.

Thanks in advance!

CHF supports children with heart conditions and their parents and carers by providing: a telephone helpline, publications, peer support and opportunities for networking, online resources, a support fund and resources for children.

CHF campaigns for support and services for children with heart conditions by: collecting and sharing information, sharing knowledge, better care campaigns and taking part in research projects.
