Hi everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m really excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer overseas in Uganda with a charity called Restless Development on an International Citizen Service placement. This means that in the summer I'll be travelling to Uganda for 12 weeks to live and work in a local community to help change people's lives! My work will mainly focus on working in the community and teaching young people ❤️

ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help. It also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.

The first part of my placement is a challenge to raise £800 towards the work of Restless Development and their ICS partners. The money raised will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, ensuring they can to continue sending youth volunteers to the developing world to make a lasting difference in disadvantaged communities.

Amongst other things, I’ll be having bake sales (im sure all my friends are pleased about that!) and just generally doing some daft stuff to raise money for this great cause! You can keep track of how I get on here on my Justgiving page.

Any contribution from you will make a real difference to the lives of people in developing countries, so please dig deep and in return I'll do some daft things to make you all laugh no doubt!
