Bristol Half Marathon 2015 · 13 September 2015 ·

Our experienced team of doctors, nutritionists, counsellors and therapists help people feel better in mind, body and spirit. From eating well and keeping active, to managing emotions and staying connected to the things we love.

Story

My uncle was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, he visited the Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre for one day during his Chemotherapy. He was booked onto a Living Well course, which demonstrates how diet, exercise and lifestyle changes can make a huge difference to living with the impact of cancer. During the day he also attended talks for cancer sufferers and their partners, enjoyed a healthy vegetarian lunch, took a walk in the gardens and looked at different ways to improve relaxation abilities and reduce stress. My uncle has since been given the all clear but has said “The whole atmosphere of the centre is relaxed with everyone we met being very helpful. It was a thoroughly worthwhile day and I will plan other courses in the future.”

I would like to raise a minimum of £180.00 as this funds one person with cancer to attend the Living Well Course and receive the benefits that Penny Brohn has to offer cancer sufferers and their families.
