My first ever Triathlon.  It's only a 'Sprint' triathlon - 750m swim, 20k cycle and a 5k run but for those that know me well... I'm no athlete and this is going to take some serious determination.  I wasn't sure about making a Just Giving page - I wasn't even sure if I was going to commit fully to the event itself - but here I am.  Fully committed.  Determined to cross the finishing line.  Husband and children will be at the end and maybe hollering at me along the way.      

And meanwhile the war in Ukraine rages on and today I pledge all donations from this event to a charity set up in the wake of the Russian invasion: the White Stork charity: which raises money to directly deliver urgent supplies and emergency relief to refugees in Romania, Poland and to those still living in Ukraine.  The White Stork is the national bird of Ukraine and a symbol of family, love and kindness.  The most important things in life.  

All proceeds from this Just Giving page will go directly to the charity and thank you in advance for all donations, all strength, all the love and all the support!
