Help us raise money for Sporting Minds UK in memory of Jeremy Wisten

Hello, we are Emma and Catherine, and we will be taking part in the first ever Altrincham 10k on the 5th September 2021! We want to start off by saying that we are not experienced runners– we aren’t trying to beat any world records and we certainly won’t be in the next Olympics. But we will give this 10k our best shot, and we want to use this opportunity to raise some money for Sporting Minds UK in loving memory of our friend and local boy Jeremy Wisten.

Sporting Minds UK is a charity which raises awareness and offers support for positive mental health in young sports people. The charity has already provided one to one specialist mental health support to 450+ young athletes. We are very passionate about this cause and we want to dedicate this fundraiser to Jeremy Wisten, a great friend of both of our children, who brought so much joy to our lives and to the lives of everyone who knew him.
