Story

Please donate to World Book Day 2023 ... and I promise to dress up as a character from a children's book... photographic evidence to be provided on World Book Day itself - Thursday 2nd of March  - (clean!) character suggestions welcomed!

Here's me as Violet Beauregarde from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a few years ago... along with Scarecrow and Gangsta Granny (who are going to kill me!)

Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income. World Book Day gives away millions of £1 tokens to be exchanged for a World Book Day book every year - for far too many children in the UK, this the first book they have ever owned.

Please give generously and help more kids to develop a lifelong love of reading
