Charity Walk for Peace 2017 · 14 May 2017 ·
Thank you for visiting our Just Giving Page. All money raised will be matched equally by "Charity Walk for Peace" and then donated to Age UK Waltham Forest. This means that for every £1 raised, £2 will be going to help older people in Waltham Forest!
Age UK Waltham Forest is a member of the Age UK federation but are a totally independent charity, separate from the national body, and have to raise all their own funds for their work in Waltham Forest.
Finding sufficient resources is a continual struggle.
Age UK Waltham Forest was founded in 1982. Their mission is to promote the wellbeing of all older adults and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
They have a team of six part-time staff, a turnover of £250,000 and more than 100 volunteers. Last year they helped more than 4,000 older people in Waltham Forest.
For each £1 raised Charity Walk for Peace will match-fund this. Please help me to support Age UK WF and to make later life a more fulfilling for older people across Waltham Forest
