We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with our loved ones and feel incredibly blessed to have our two beautiful flower girls joining us.

As you are all aware, Marnie and Raven shocked us all by coming into the world at just 28weeks. Our babies fought for their lives and were kept alive and breathing by the incredible team at Hull Women’s and Children’s Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). They needed intensive treatment during their stay and will continue to need extra support for a few years yet.

During the girls stay on the unit we was looked after by the amazing NICU staff who taught us how to help clean, feed, and tend to some of our tiny babies medical needs. They were patient with us, they laughed with us, they celebrated positive steps with us, and they listened to our concerns whilst being a shoulder to cry on during our bad days.

We have so many heartbreaking, incredible, touching, and sentimental memories from the 77 days the girls spent on NICU,and we will be forever grateful to them. There is not a day that goes by that our babies do not amaze us in how far they have come. They are our heroes, alongside the lifesaving NICU team.

We have decided the greatest wedding gift that anyone could give us is to help fundraise towards the incredible NICU unit. Without NICU, simply put, we would not be so incredibly blessed to have our baby girls with us today. We would appreciate any contribution towards this amazing cause.

We could not have got through the darkest times of our lives without our incredible friends and family surrounding us with love, understanding, support, food, wine, cooked meals, and cheese!
