We are Rainbows Hospice, our mission is to support the children that need us most

Story

The England Women's cricket team are supporters of Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

As a team we visited Rainbows before our successful 2017 World Cup campaign, we saw first hand the fantastic work the hospice does for children, young people and their families. This Christmas Day our squad will collectively run 100km to raise money and awareness for Rainbows- a cause we all feel connected to. (Once we have done our bit of the run each of us will provide proof on social media).

We will also use this page to donate our tour fines money. It is tradition that on every tour we go on we collect money from players and staff when they do or say something silly. This page includes all fines money from the World Cup as well as our Ashes tour down under, we are very glad we can now put our stupidity to good use!

We are very grateful for any extra support, it is hugely appreciated!

Many thanks,

The England Women's Cricket Team

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
