I am a trustee of P6 because it is a fantastic organisation working with people across all ages and from all backgrounds with alcohol and drug problems. The affects of drug and alcohol problems are far reaching for individuals, famies, friends and local communities. P6 staff and volunteers support individuals affected but also their families and friends in partnership with other organisations across Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven including though all GP practices.

I am always impressed by the people who are in recovery for their courage and determination to overcome issues which must seem insurmountable at the time. The support they get from P6 enables them to take the steps to climb those mountains, stay well and contribute to their local community. Many become volunteers helping others in their quest for the summit. 

Without doubt It can be life changing...one gentleman described his new life as "born again"  and I am proud to be playing a small part in their recovery.
