In memory of Eric Huskisson
Story
Sadly, my Grandpa Eric Huskisson passed away on Sunday 1st March age 85.
On behalf of our family I'd like to say thank you very much to all those friends who have passed on their kind wishes and condolences.
He has been a member of Jarrow & Hebburn AC for around 65 years first as an athlete and then as a coach and a stalwart official at track & field, road and cross country events in the North East for 5 decades making many friends for life in athletics, which has been such a huge part in his life.
We are raising funds for his chosen charity, Ron Pickering Memorial Fund which helps young aspiring athletes which has been a passion of his for his whole life.
The funeral will be Wednesday 11th March at 1.30pm at Bill Quay Church in Gateshead and cremation at South Sheilds Crematorium at 2.30 followed by a gathering at the Cock Crow Inn, Hebburn.
