I have taken on the challenge of running 12 half marathons in twelve months before my birthday in August 2018. Because I had a F***ing stupid idea and now I'm gonna run with it (see what I did there!)

Why is this worth sponsoring? Because I can't run, I'm slow, it hurts and I hate every minute of it. The most I have ever run is 10k and that took me far too long! So if you sponsor me, I can't quit and you can have a lie in on a Sunday, perhaps even a nice full English, and be smug in the knowledge that I am most probably out in the cold, making myself miserable, wondering what the hell I am doing. ( Although I reserve the right to that full English on my return)

But here the good bit: As well as making me suffer you will be helping one of the best charities around as I will be raising money for smart works an amazing charity that helps women get back to work with interview attire and interview coaching. But in reality it does so much more than that by giving the gift of self esteem, ability to provide for their families and escape poverty, plus in some cases get out of a difficult domestic situation. This charity empowers women and at Mediacom North we are keen to help such a great organisation.

So If you dig deep, I promise I will keep you supplied with stories of misery and photos of me looking like death. You will get to take the piss, when I hobble across the office. You will help women start a new chapter in their lives. Surely that's worth a few quid!
