Imogen and I are attempting to climb the National three peaks this week.
We leave for Glasgow Friday and return Sunday; our schedule is below – WISH US LUCK!

We have known each other since school and share a LOVE for animals.

Grinshill Animal Rescue. 

This is a fantastic family run charity based in Shrewsbury, owned by Kate and Jenny. We spoke with these lovely ladies at length to fully understand exactly we can give to help them. 

...Our house and kennels nestle into the base of Grinshill hill and we are surrounded by woods and fields - haven for cats and dogs alike. We started rescuing approximately 35 years ago, taking in stray, abused animals and generally helping people when they could no longer look after their animals for one reason or another. No matter how much space is made there is never enough room - we always have waiting lists for dogs & cats to be re-homed. 
Our aim is to rehabilitate and re-home all animals to suitable, caring homes. In the meantime, we aim to provide a happy sanctuary for them.

Vet bills are one of their biggest expenses, each animal need care and this includes vaccinations, microchips, being neutered and check ups to make sure they are happy and healthy. Our target of £3,000 is just a small tip of the ice berg.
