We fundraise to enable young people to become International Volunteers

Story

It’s been my dream to become a volunteer in another country and it’s finally becoming possible as I have been given a placement with Project Trust to volunteer in a primary school, teaching English, in Honduras!

I’m 17 years old and have a passion for learning languages and discovering new cultures. I am so excited to be able to help primary school children with their journey in education.

I really appreciate the time you have taken to read this and I would be so grateful if you could help me on this journey!

RCN SC025668
Project Trust is a Scottish-registered educational charity providing young people in the UK and Europe with international volunteering experiences. Project Trust Volunteers are based in projects in Africa, Asia or Latin America for 12 or 8 months supporting teaching or youth development work. Empowering global citizens Project Trust’s aim is to empower generations of young people to act as responsible and active global citizens. We support ethical, long-term volunteering experiences which enable the Volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to their host community whilst building knowledge, skills and cultural intelligence. Project Trust works with a small group of Volunteers each year, allowing the staff team to know each individual’s skills and interests. This allows us to place Volunteers in projects where they can get the most out of the experience and enables our staff to provide tailored support to each young person. Project Trust strives to be open to all young people with the desire, motivation and aptitude required to benefit from a long-term, ethical, volunteering placement
