We are hosting a charity event for the charity that helped us with Nellie when she had her operation ❤️ While we were sat waiting for Nellie to come back to recovery one of the ladies who is part of the charity came to see us & gave us a parent package - which had lots of gifts inside to keep us going during our stay , she also invited us to the bake sale which is a regular thing they do there. It was amazing in that moment to see a friendly face during the hardest time of our lives. We don’t know if Nellie will need more surgery in the future - no one can give us that answer so we would like to give back to the charity so that other parents get that friendly face in that heartbreaking moment in their lives & we also may need that friendly face again one day. Without this charity they would not be able to support the hospital & the families in need!
