About 8 and a half years ago I received the tragic news that my uncle had passed away to cancer. Since then our family have done what they can to raise money and contribute to certain charities, mainly Get Ahead, a charity which focuses on fighting cancers in the head and neck. They do this by working tirelessly to raise money for vital medical equipment that the NHS can not afford and also allow the provision of free complementary therapies that are essential for recovery.

I’d like to do what I can to help. As you may be aware ‘Movemeber’ is just around the corner and it turns out I have been blessed with quite the beard (which has seemed to come out of nowhere), so I thought I’d use this as an opportunity to raise money for Get Ahead.

I will be posting tomorrow with my clean shaven face and then at the end of the month with hopefully a fully grown moustache (and no beard to compliment it 😥) No donation is too small, everything goes to this incredible cause. See you tomorrow.
