Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am climbing a total of 306m which is the same height as The Shard building in London. This means that I will climb the climbing wall 25 times consecutively without stopping! The money I raise is going to The Good Life Orphanage which provides a safe home for orphaned and abandoned children in the Kikambala area of Kenya. The orphanage was started by an English couple who took a trip to a local school whilst on a family holiday in Kenya, they were shocked by the  poverty. So, a year later they flew back out with £42,000 in raised funds from  friends and family and 18 workers and rebuilt the dilapidated school. The orphanage opened in 2008 and now cares for over 60 children.

Every single penny that I raise for them goes to the orphanage; no admin, no travel or accommodation costs are taken by anyone involved. They desperately need financial support to provide the food, education and medical costs to keep the orphanage going and to give these children a better life. We hope to raise enough so that some of the money can go towards some lovely days out for the children as a special treat for them! My aim is £300 so please give whatever you can. Thank you!
