My brother Kenneth, nephew Liam and I are participating in Total Warrior in North Berwick on Saturday 10th September 2016 .

Total Warrior is the pinnacle of obstacle racing, providing the most innovative and highest quality obstacle event in the UK. With around 30 punishing obstacles, Total Warrior also offers greater variety and more obstacles-per-kilometre (or pain-for-your-pound!) than any other race.

For those of you who don't know, my son Ethan was born 3 years ago with Down's Syndrome. Ethan is a happy and healthy wee boy who certainly keeps us on our toes and a lot of this is to do with the support and assistance he receives whilst attending playgroup at First Steps, based at the Beatlie Campus in Craigshill, Livingston. All the staff here are excellent and Ethan has benefited immensely from their care and attention. The playgroup could not exist without funding and as a way of trying to say thanks we decided to do Total Warrior (must've been drunk when I agreed!)

Any donation you can give is greatly appreciated. Ethan is going to nursery in August however hopefully we can help keep First Steps going for others that rely on them!
