Story
On 1st May 2016 my brother, and I will be taking part in the Great Birmingham 10k Run and have decided raise money for SANDS (the Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society) as we know first hand just how valuable the support SANDS offer is to bereaved families.
After the loss of two of my daughters, Chloe who was stillborn on 14/2/11 and Mila who passed away in neonatal intensive care unit on 23/4/12 at just 35 hours old my wife and i discovered SANDS. The support they gave us helped us through the darkest times of our lives. We would love to be able to do our bit to ensure SANDS continues to be there to support some of the 17 families a day throughout the uk who are effected by the loss of a baby when they need someone the most.
My brother Daniel has very kindly offered to help me on my quest of raising as much as i can for SANDS so they will be running the race along side me.
SANDS relies greatly on donations form the public in order to function the way they do so please please give what ever you can! No matter how big or how small your donation, every penny counts!
Even if you can't afford to make a donation please help us spread the word that SANDS is there to help! You never know who's life they may help make that little bit more bearable each day.
