Glad Tidings Orphan Care (GTOC) is a Community Based Organisation supported by Starfish Malawi, located in the heart of rural Ngolowindo in Malawi. The area suffers extensively from the challenges of living in poverty, with the local communities facing inadequate levels of income, fragile food security and a lack of education and investment. GTOC currently is run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Activities taking place at the main centre, include: Gateway - Producing and providing girls with vital reusable sanitary health kits Social Welfare Programme - Protecting and supporting vulnerable and orphaned children, through a feeding programme and parental support. Nursery Education through 4 nurseries in local villages. Hope Clinic - providing free outpatients healthcare plus a number of clinics for children.
