I am running for Velindre Cancer Centre, because all the money raised benefits our patients.  It is a special race for me this year, as I am doing it in memory of Emyr Owen.  Emyr was a delight, an incredibly bright, intelligent, funny boy, whose loves included sport (especially rugby), cocktail bars (don't ask!), Buzz, and pigs who could dig for freedom!  His death from Hodgkin's lymphoma, shortly after his 12th birthday, is an unbearable loss for his parents, Sandra and Kevin, and brother Huw.
