This month at Jurys Inn Cheltenham we are planning numerous
Charity Missions in aid of Gloucestershire Young Carers.

There are people in our communities that are under the age
of 18, who provide regular or ongoing care and or emotional support to a family
member. These self-less people are why the Charity: Gloucestershire Young
Carers exists.

Leo the Luggage is Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotel’s mascot.
Leo is making his way around each individual hotel in the group across Ireland
and the UK. Leo’s transport could be by foot, train or even plane, but each
hotel shall be fundraising for the entirety of the challenge for their chosen
charity.

So what is Jurys Inn Cheltenham doing?

Leo shall be arriving with us on the 29^th of July
after being transported by Jurys Inn Swindon.

Lucy our Deputy General Manager, shall then cycle the 70 miles to Jurys Inn
Cardiff to hand Leo over for his next leg of the journey.

For Leo’s stay we shall have bikes in our lobby, where the
team shall be cycling the distance to Cardiff and back - 140 miles - to support
Lucy in spirit, but it doesn’t stop there! The 30^th of July we shall
be hosting a bake sale but also a car wash at the front of the hotel. Not
forgetting our used book table in the lobby. Our Leisure team are hosting a
sponsored swim with the aim to swim 1500 lengths of our pool.
