WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

We have a team of 29 runners from nine of our offices around the world taking part in the New York Marathon on Sunday 4 November and they are all raising money for WaterAid.

The runners taking part are; Amy Earlam, Catherine Eley, Gabriel Albemark, Gerhard Molt, Ian Moore, Jake Perryman, Jayne Speers, Jill McVerry, Jennifer Hock, Julian Brown, Keri Rees, Loretta Soffe, Mark Beardmore, Martin Sanftleben, Michael Nyman, Michelle Upton, Nicola Hoesl, Nigel Cooke, Patrick Davis, Paul Pugh, Phillip Tunney, Rachel Duffy, Rebecca Lassey, Simon Oats, Stephen Kitts and Stuart Earle

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good. With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive. It sounds normal and it should be.

Please donate what you can to make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. Good luck to our team!
