One in four people are personally affected by mental health throughout the world. Mind charity aims to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding about mental health, with the ultimate goal to reach and support as many people as possible effected by mental health problems. Both of us have experienced first hand the effects and problems posed by mental health. The prospect of running a half marathon is bloody terrifying but the incentive to raise money for a charity that means so much to both of us and to so many other people takes the edge off a bit. 

Of course, we have both been training for MONTHS. We wouldn't call ourselves athletes per se, but we are expecting big things - First and Second place TBA.
