I was born with Sagittal Craniosynostosis a condition which can cause skull malformation and brain damage if left untreated. It occurs when bones in a baby's skull fuse prematurely. 

I was lucky, I got seen by a World Class Specialist Team at Oxford John Radcliffe who carried out two major procedures to help correct the problem. The first operation nearly killed me but fast reaction from the medical team saved my life.  

There is a little funded charity called Headlines who aim to raise awareness and educate people to improve public understanding of craniosynostosis and rare craniofacial conditions but to also support the people who have craniosynostosis and other rare forms of it throughout their lives to overcome the physical, psychological and social impacts of living with these conditions. They really supported me and my family and helped us like many others.
