Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

July 4th 2004,  Tokyo. Lachlan Armitage was born. July 8th 2004, Tokyo. Max Ewart-White was born. The two boys immediately gelled & became firm friends in a foreign city. Less than 3 years later Lachlan sadly passed away having suffered from an incurable genetic disease.

July 4th 2014 is the day Lachlan would have turned 10. To mark this anniversary Max & his brothers, Olly & Rocco, have decided to raise money for Shooting Star Chase, the children's hospice that cared so lovingly for Lachlan.

On Sunday 29th June at Loseley Park Max & Olly will embark on a 10k run whilst Rocco will take on the 10 furlong equivalent.

Their training schedule has been coming nicely to the boil with even Hachi struggling to keep up. Eyebrows have been raised at the dietary regime but we have been informed that chocolate & Haribos are all part of the pre-event carbo & sugar loading.

These lads are now in prime physical condition ready, willing & able to take on the might of the 10k & 10 furlong challenges. Their aim is to raise £4,000: can you help them get over the line?

Is there a tenner tucked behind the sofa? Did the dog eat two pound coins for breakfast? And if so can they be rescued & put to good use? It all counts!

So please, dig deep. Your support is crucial & much appreciated.
