So it&rsquo;s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now.</p> <p>We're off on a sponsored cycle ride from Lands End to&nbsp;John O'Groats on July 8th 2011 and we will be cycling 1000 miles over&nbsp;10 days (ouch!).&nbsp; Our aim is to raise enough money to enable us to buy a DynaVox Eyemax machine for the&nbsp;Stoke Mandeville Spinal Unit.&nbsp; It will be great if we can raise the &pound;11,000 to buy an Eyemax and it will make a massive difference for many paralysed patients.</p> <p>The Eyemax is used during the early stages of rehabilitation to help patients who have limited ability to speak and communicate in the normal way.&nbsp; During this time patients can feel extremely isolated and the Eyemax is a tool that can help them to communicate by eye movement.&nbsp; A simple blink can give them control over their daily lives and help access a range of things such as a keyboard, internet, games and email.&nbsp; Things that we all take for granted.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>So dig as deep as you can and be involved in giving the Eyemax without getting blisters on your bum!!</p> <p>We really appreciate your help.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
