Foodhub believes in supporting each other, from our clients, to our neighbours and our staff.  North Staffs Carers support a wide range of carers and we wanted to support them.  With summer on its way, a team of Foodhub employees have decided to get in shape for the summer.  We have set an ambitious goal of raising £2000 by losing at least 2 stone in weight over the next 2 months.  With every pound the team lose, we are looking for a donation from you.  

North Staffs Carers

North Staff Carers are a local charity to the Head Office, within Stoke-on-Trent, and do really important work supporting carers, who give their time tirelessly to others. The charity is vital in keeping these carers supported so that they can continue their dedicated work of looking after a loved one. They offer a dedicated carers centre, information, and advice, emotional support, practical help, break opportunities, and social activities; along with support to access benefits and grants

A carer is anyone who, without payment, cares for someone due to illness, disability, health conditions, age or substance misuse who could not manage alone.  The charity has a lot of children and young adults who are carers, they do an exceptional job whilst balancing their education and giving up their time just being children. A carer can be of any age or gender and can be found in all communities.
