In the past we have had many sucessful charity events such as a previous skydive and bungee jump. This year to show our support for the St Amadeus school in Tanzania, the sixth form has decided to organise another charity sky dive.
St Amadeus is a school is in Moshi, Tanzania that Francis Holland School has supported from the start, building the school and providing funds for teachers and the students' education. This secondary school is especially important as it in the only one in the area, allowing many children to gain qualifications and help them escape the cycle of poverty. It is also helping Moshi build a real chance of a future for themselves.
The very sucessful Bungee Jump last year raised £10,000 and this year we are hoping to raise even more, so please help us to make this event the best yet! Fifteen pupils and several teachers are going to take a daring jump on Saturday 26th March and any donations you make will go a long way in helping run this inspiring school!
Good luck to everyone who takes part! We hope you will all give generously :)
Thank you!!!!!
Those taking the daring the jump: Stella Papadopoulos, Bella Boyle, Daisy Schaffer, Katherine Arnot, Gabriella Hondrogiannis, Iszy Foss, Kate Sayer, Blair Paskin, Maia Smilie, Ranya Mulchandani, Charlotte Prinsley and Rosie Browning.
