Children are not small adults. Just like them, their health care needs are unique. NEO Kids Foundation raises funds to purchase vital pieces of equipment, conduct life-changing research and increase awareness for childrens health needs in Northeastern Ontario.

Fred and his sister Mae have have been supported by NEO kids right from their births here in Sudbury, through hospital stays, EEGs, EKGs, heart monitoring, Echocardiograms, surgery followup, therapy sessions at CTC, medication monitoring and their many check ups with their awesome pediatrician, Dr Kumar. 

They save us from making even more trips down south to Sick Kids, but my hope is one day to have all the services we need in the north, to keep kids with their families. We have been split up many times, especially since Covid-19 has complicated matters. It never gets easier, but the amazing staff we have encountered always does their best to make us feel at home, cared for, and heard. 

To celebrate Fred turning the big ONE we are hoping to raise some money to help more kids like him and the best big sister ever.
