Last year I lost a dear friend and colleague 'Fabulous Phyl' and decided I wanted to run a marathon in her memory. Following the cancellation of Gloucester Marathon that I was due to participate in, my running coach and fellow friend of Phyl, Rachel Bown suggested that we complete a local 10 Km 4 times (plus a bit extra) to make sure we covered the marathon distance of 26.2 miles.

On Sunday 20th January, starting out in sub zero temperatures, we completed the Skyline 10Km at Bath university 4 times in just under 5 hours.
