Story

This November I am walking 60 miles across the Iraqi desert from *Najaf to Karbala* for the Iraqi Orphans. I will be meeting orphans, desperate and destitute refugee families along my journey.

There are an estimated 4 to 5 million Iraqi orphans and this number is ever-increasing due to the ongoing violence devastating Iraq. Even as you read this, there are more and more people being mercilessly killed in Iraq by terrorist groups. Young children are left without parents and are made vulnerable, not knowing whether they will have shelter for the night or when their next meal will be.

I will be accompanied by volunteers from *IUSAid* who are looking after over 100 such orphans in Iraq already.

Please help me deliver much needed Aid to some of the poorest of this world.

Thank you for your support.

Faraz Haider.
