Farcical 50 are proud to be entering the Brighton Tackle Africa Marathon. 

Our team this year had two players ‘celebrating’ their 50th birthdays this year (John ‘lightening’ Hogg and Sam ‘goal hanger’ McP); two father and son combo’s (James ‘Erikson’ Sonny ‘Kane’ McP & ‘Super’ Steve/ ‘Genius’ James East), 'hard as nails' Neil plus our French Flair player Yann Vochelle....a devasting mix of experience and youth...

We're going to play football for 12 consecutive hours in a tournament that runs from 8am to 8pm on Saturday 20th July.   We're doing this to raise money for Tackle Africa, a great charity that uses the language of football to raise awareness of HIV Aids, and other health issues, with children and adolescents across 6 African countries.  TA's programmes help equip these young people to live healthy and confident lives: playing football really can make a difference.

Go on and sponsor us - and please dig deep - we promise to run our socks off for 12 hours and we might even score a goal or two. Think of it as our 50th bday present!
