The  Rolex Fastnet race is not for the faint hearted. It is 608 miles of potentially gruelling offshore racing. All of the crews are required to undergo stringent training and proof of offshore racing to ensure the safety of the event. An all female crew is unusual because of the physical demands of the race.  The crew of Hot Stuff are thrilled to be mounting an all female campaign on a level playing field with the men.

So, Sophie O'Neill, Carol Eccles, Ali Millman, Kate Stoddard, Caroline Emmott, Jemma Ingham,Anke Ludewig, Jo Bayles and Ellen Catherall are off around the rock and would love to know that we can race hard and support a good cause at the same time.

The Eve Appeal is a charity funding awareness and research into women' cancers. This is a charity that was strongly supported by a vibrant woman called Michelle Frost. Michelle died last summer aged 27 from a woman's cancer , and used the short time she  had to promote the message and fundraising of this charity. Her family continue to raise funds for The Eve Appeal and we would be delighted if this all female campaign could benefit the charity in any way possible.
