Fat, OldMan to cycle Coast to Coast · 10 June 2023

Footprints Conductive Education Centre is a Nottingham charity that transforms the lives of children with mobility and communication difficulties, and empowers families with disabled children. With your help we can continue to provide Conductive Education, and reach more children and families.

Story

Fancy cycling Coast to Coast they said?
As always, the answer is Yes!
But what about the hills in the Lake District, Pennines and North Yorkshire Moors? What about them? I replied with bravado (and a little nervously)
So,  along with members and friends of the Rotary Club of Nottingham I'm cycling from Barrow in Furness to Whity, 149 miles/238 kilometers with 10,969 feet of climbs in 2 days.

Footprints is a fabulous charity helping children with disabilities and their families. It's not a big charity, it doesn't run a huge fleet of cars or employ more administration than operatives.
It just gets on with delivering support.

I'm old, overweight, bald (although this could be an aerodynamic advantage) and an ex smoker to boot, so I need your support to ensure I don't stay in the hotel eating breakfast.

Thank You.
