Story
My Nan (Irene) was admitted to Isabel Hospice on 11th December after spending 2 weeks in hospital. From the moment she arrived, the care she received was second to none!
My Nan was always a hard lady to please but everyone made her feel so comfortable. All the staff and volunteers are amazing.
As a family we will always be grateful for the care, respect and dignity she received at Isabel in her final days and will do everything we can to support them.
I am stepping out of my comfort zone in order to raise money for the hospice and would appreciate any contribution to support the cause. It takes many volunteers and hard working staff to keep these hospices going and without fundraising and support from us it would be almost impossible.
Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 270,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire. Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for around 1,400 patients and 700 family members. But we know there are even more people that need our help.
