Daisy and Isaacs Plymouth Childrens Half Marathon Challenge
Fundraising for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal
Story
On Sunday 19th May, Daisy and Isaac will be completing their half marathon challenge on Plymouth Hoe. So far they have braved all the elements to both rack up 11 miles around the school track, after school and over weekends.
Daisy and Isaac have been running and are hoping to raise money in Callum St John’s memory, a little boy who died age 4 from an extremely aggressive and fast growing lymphoma which caused a cardiac arrest. Despite the efforts of all the doctors and nurses Callum sadly passed away.
In Callum's memory Daisy and Isaac have decided to try and do something positive and raise money for The Grand Appeal, supporting Bristol Royal Children's Hospital who tried so hard to save Callum's life. Callum was initially treated at Derriford Hospital, in Plymouth but was soon transferred to Bristol Children's Hospital.
The work that Bristol Children's Hospital do is fantastic and they need as much money as possible to treat the children that so desperately need their help and provide accommodation for their families.
